presents

TIGERS with GREEN STRIPES

Saturday, March 28, 2015, 1:00-4:00pm

Audubon Greenwich

613 Riversville Rd, Greenwich, CT

This special event will focus on the exploding business of energy efficiency and environmental measures in the Real Estate industry and the opportunity for diverse career opportunities in this space. Much of this is happening right here in Connecticut particularly with the C-PACE program and Green Bank becoming nationwide models. Socio-Economic development goes hand in hand with this theme. The format for the networking will employ the World Café Method for maximum interaction, learning and mentoring (www.theworldcafe.com/method.html).
Meet fellow Tigers* involved in the green sustainability initiative!

We are honored to have Rob Klee '96, Commissioner of the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), as our special guest. We will meet in the Audubon Kimberlin Education building and are also pleased to have its noted architect, Allan Shope, share the groundbreaking "green design" initiatives employed using recycled building materials, sourcing with conservation efforts, utilizing a geothermal HVAC system, and more. (http://Greenwich.audubon.org/kimberlin-nature-education-center).

This event is being organized by Steven Hall '65 and Mike Sherber '79. They have assembled additional resources with careers in finance, engineering, architecture, the environment and real estate development who will also be leaders for the event.
